Building the capacity of the community in terms of knowledge, organization skills as well as improved communication

Community Participation is a key aspect of the project. It begins with raising awareness on the project among the concerned community groups. Subsequently, there are a number of activities which require active community participation. Thus there are strong community participation components included in the project.

The project will equally engage both men and women.

To introduce alternative cultivation. (Cardamom, indigenous yams, betel etc.) for income generation.
