Sustainable Crop
Production
The project will undertake education and training, agro-processing as the major components to assist the women?s group in adding value and develop a secondary outlet for their vegetables and culinary herbs. The project will demonstrate the opportunities that a cottage enterprise can provide for the development of the group and community. A major component of the project is developing organic inputs (compost and compost teas) that will compliment vegetable and crop production

The socio-economic activities the group wishes to carry out is through their involvement in Argo-processing activities.
Argo-processing is a perfect avenue for women for women farmers of Morne Prosper to gain revenue from otherwise discard production. Argo-processing also present the opportunity for women to increase production in other vegetable (string beans) to compliment traditional crops (carrots).
