Increasing Visibility and Communicating Best Practices in Environmental Management
This is a documentary proposal that aims to raise awareness on the conservation of the environment and the natural resources therein. The anticipated results are to bring to understanding the relationship between the environment and people ? man exhausting and altering the land from which his sustenance derives. It will further be a means to share experiences and provide a vehicle for making lessons learnt, success stories and challenges of implementing projects geared towards solving environmental problems and taping on opportunities presented by a healthy environment to be made known to the general public and stakeholders.
The project taps on lessons learnt in projects previously funded by the programme on improving media coverage of NGO initiatives in addressing global environmental problems in Botswana and a documentary on Ditlhakane river.

Notable Community Participation
The communities will be able to showcase the environmental initiatives they have implemented as a way to publicise and share lessons learnt and experiences on project implementation. This will allow CBOs and NGOs to share the challenges and successes in solving environmental problems and taping on environmental opportunities to make a living.
