Establishment of Center on retention and development of ecological horticulture at the village Berezhnoe (Stolin dist. Brest oblast) based on ecological pomological fruit garden.
Goals:
To create nursery garden based on pomological garden (project BLR/OP3/2/07/06) in v. Berezhnoe (Stolin dist., Brest oblast) for planting local kinds apple trees saplings and to create Center, where training of locals and school children on local kinds fruit garden planting will be held with further dissemination of the gained experience along the territory of district.
Tasks:
?To construct a building for the Center placing on the territory of pomological garden (v. Berezhnoe);
?To equip Center with all necessary equipment for holding trainings;
?To create 4 school children groups (schools of v. Berezhnoe and v. Belousha);
?To hold training of children and teachers on planting and grafting methods of pomological and immune kinds of fruit gardens;
?To found 2 fruit gardens at the territories of schools in v. Berezhnoe and v. Belousha Gained experience to spread over the majority schools of Stolin district,
?To hold the seminar for the students and teachers of Stolin district schools;
?To prepare, publish and disseminate the training materials among the schools and local population of Stolin district planting and grafting methods of pomological and immune kinds of fruit gardens.
?To procure and plant 12000 saplings of immune kinds of apple trees.
?To procure wilding material and graft 100 000 pieces of immune kinds of apple trees.
?To initiate dissemination of saplings to the local population, suitable for planting at the territories adjoining the houses.
?To hold the final seminar on project results.
?To create and coordinate with Stolin educational authorities a long ?term plan of Stolin district schools involvement into the fruit gardening at the schools? adjoining territories.
