This project is fully funded by UNDP TRAC fund in the same target areas that funded by the GEF SGP funded. This project provided clean water facility to communities to improve their health and livelihoods.

This project will support the community fisheries that have already been established and recognized in the six target communes, through community fisheries federations that are being organized - one in each of the districts. It will help build their capacity both in terms of materials and human resources to enable them to patrol the community fisheries areas and gain control of them, together with Fisheries officers and local authorities. This project will help them monitor law enforcement activities and develop strategies to improve enforcement. At the same time as building the capacities of these associations, this project will also support activities at lower levels to ensure the full participation of all community members, especially women and the poor have increased capacity on hygiene of water using and help women household to reduce the difficulty of water boils for their families. Self-help groups that had organized will be supported loan to purchase the Pure Water Cans for selling to group members and community members in order to promote the using of Pure Water Cans and also improving of community health. Through this activity is more supported to existing SHGs in order to increase the loans for SHGs managing and use to improve community health and continuing to other community members.
