Community Based Patenagi Biodiversity Conservation Project
The project's site, patenagi forest lies at an altitude up to 3045m and cover 250 hectors of land and transboundary of Kanchenjunga Conservation and Protected Area (KCAP) in far eastern Mountain region of Nepal and India.The place is also the hot spots for biological diversity and the corridor for wild animals. The main objective of the project is to conserve the biodiversity of Patenagi forest by mitigating deforestation and conserving watershed area. The project will focused on sustainable livelihood designed as cost effective intervention based on community efforts.
