Community Management of Seamoss Harvest at Blanchisseuse (TRI/04/02)
The purpose of the project is:
a) to prepare a proposal for a project aimed at developing a management strategy for the seaweed species harvested at Blanchisseuse, to be based on field research to identify and promote sustainable harvesting methods and to provide the basis for an awareness and community education campaign; and
b) to establish a mechanism for the participation and collaboration of relevant organizations in designing and conducting the project.
