Project goal:
To maximize agriculture product in very limited area with the implementation of environmentally friendly agriculture system.
Project objectives:
1.To identify local potential resources (have ecological and economical value) to diversify food
2.To improve community skill in sustainable agriculture system
3.To reduce artificial inputs in agriculture activities
4.To strengthen community’s economic activities through cooperative management
5.To bring back the fertility of agricultural land
6.To improve the productivity of agricultural land
7.To conserve agricultural land by implementing organic farming system
8.To conserve biodiversity by planting local variety plants
9.To raise community’s awareness on conservation effort
10.To raise community’s participation on conservation activities
Activities to be carried out under the project :
1.Preparation.
a)Local natural resources identification – data collection
b)Program socialization
c)Planning and managing the activities
d)Demonstration project setting
e)Nursery center setting
2.Local training and education in the field.
a)Implementation organic farming and maintaining techniques for the farmers with LAMP method
b)Composting, biofertilizer/biopesticide technique
c)Land preparation for plants cultivation;
3.Outreach Approach.
Comparison study, information media dissemination, mentoring, meetings, Cooperative, Marketing
4.Technical Assistance.
a)Field training for the farmers
b)Post harvest maintaining techniques
c)Marketing
5.Evaluation and Reporting.
