Agroecological production and commercialization in San Lucas Toliman, Sololá
To provide stakeholders with training opportunities for the implementation of a revolving fund for organic coffee production and the maintenance of traditional biological richness of shade for this plantations.
This project has been designed to strengthen the traditional biological richness of coffee plantations and the promotion of organic farming practices to improve commercialization options for small coffee producers on the watershed of the Lake Atitlán protected area.

All participants are of caqchikel ethnic group.
Notable Community Participation
Outstanding. This project achieved the transformation of coffee plantations under natural forest shade to organic production. The sustainability of the project is outstanding due to the funds management, that is made through a micro credit system to the associates. Initially 17 associates were planned to work on the project activities, due to their success 8 additional ones join the efforts.
