Pilot to Use Local Plant Material Pellets/Dried Forage as Alternative Feed for Blackbelly Sheep in the Farming Community, augmented with Molasses Urea Blocks
To develop a series of local, sustainable, alternatives to traditional forages, which:
Increase nutritional content uptake
Carry increased nutrient content

Objectives
1. Bring eight acres of Organic Forage into production, integrating local species into grassland.
2. Develop the sustainable production of Molasses Urea Blocks, making at least 50 units per week. Build capacity of local farmers in MUB making: train 75 farmers, over 3 cohorts in a 12 month period.
3. Pilot of Conversion of forage/crop residue to dried, milled and pelletized format: 100 kg per week, over two months, at end of harvest period (8-12 months) for storage/distribution. Total target weight: 800 kg.
