The project will put on place a revolving fund for RE systems and energy efficient appliances, this will reduce the pressure on their income, in the same time it will contribute to the wide spread of RE systems and EE appliances which contribute to the overall CO2 abatement. The project is located in Jordan Valley, an area heavily dependent on agriculture and most population are working in agriculture, in the same time the area is considered one of the poverty spots in the country. The area is known for its very hot and humid, people depend on air conditioning in the hot summer days and food refrigeration to keep an acceptable temperature, this put pressure on the income of households as electricity bills are high.
