Tree Seedlings Project and Demonstration of Ecological Afforestation for Non-Timber Forest Products
The project is creating a Center Research Science of nursery for the Dipterocarpaceae in Champasak University, which will have collaboration of Faculty of Natural Science, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences - Forestry, and Faculty of Economics. To inoculate the processing of fungus in seedlings to forestry and the most important is to create a terrestrial ecosystem science demonstration pose at Research Center Biological Science Experiment with instruments, scientists see the difference of indoor fungus and open field fungus to check microorganisms, which can help the growth of trees, procedure, and method nursery. Most farmers in the project area do mono agricultural production in a large area of open field that is only one kind of crop like coffee, tea, rubber, cane, cassava, and corn. which is a case of losing the balance of ecosystems. The project aim is to encourage the student, farmer, community and all parties in society, pay attention to the importance of promoting and restoring ecosystem of science by sharing seedlings of Dipterocarpaceae trees, which are already inoculated with the fungi to aid in tree growth by age one year of nursery in the garden by contributing fully increased power of biology for the use and benefit of forest with wisely reasoning that is the most important to restore, preserve, expand forest production editing need food system product and activity economically sustainable.
