The Centre's activities will be an important contribution to the realization of human rights regarding access to information, public participation in decision-making and access to justice in environmental issues. Moreover, the initiative will introduce a pilot project on GIS planning and monitoring for particular region, provide information and methodological support to local governments and communities to form plans for environmental development of territories and ensure their environmental safety, as well as conduct trainings, conferences and roundtable discussions. In addition, an open course on GIS will developed and launched.
