Round the clock food production; implementing sustainable Agro-ecological Farming for Climate Change mitigation and imports reduction on Praslin Island; Planning Grant
The following are objectives of the planning grants and a series of actions were designed to meet these objectives over a few months of preparatory work for the new NGO:
• Meet with partners to discuss on the selected project idea and come up with a proposal for submitting to the GEF SGP office as the set deadline.
• Develop the proposal into a full project proposal by engaging the project partners at every stage of the proposal
• Communicate and connect the stakeholders with other project partners, other Farmers Association including the community members stakeholders to under the project and to support the project implementation.
• Train and seek capacity building opportunities for the applicant and / or other NGO partners in project cycle management and successful project implementation
• Coordinate project activities first six months of project implementation.
