THE REALITY OF INDEPENDENCE OF COMMUNITY FOODS IN PALAHIDU BARAT VILLAGE THROUGH MANAGEMENT AND UTILIZATION OF SUSTAINABLE NATURAL RESOURCES IN 2023

a. Expected results at the end of the collaboration with GEF SGP

1. Increased income of people and fishermen in the fisheries sector
2. There is a continuation of the management of fishing grounds in West Palahidu Village
3. The realization of food security for the Palahidu Barat village community based on local food
4. The restoration of forests in the Palahidu Barat village area
5. Increased knowledge and capability of the community in the management and protection of natural resources
6. Increased knowledge of the Palahidu West village community in the management of agricultural products
7. Increased income of the people of West Palahidu village from the use of local natural resources in the village of Palahidu Barat
8. The existence of sustainability of natural resource conservation activities contained in the Palahidu Barat village planning document (RPJM Desa).
9. The program beneficiaries directly or indirectly are the Palahidu Barat Village community and the Binongko community

b. Gender Mainstreaming and Social Inclusion
What is the role of men and women in the proposed activity (by focusing on women's needs).

The role of women and men in Palahidu Barat Village in the implementation of the program involved more women than men and this activity could be enjoyed by all groups in the community including marginalized groups.

c. How communities measure the success of activities
to measure whether the activities carried out are successful or not, the implementing team will carry out periodic monitoring every 1 (one) time in a month to ascertain whether these activities have met the indicators that have existed or not. This monitoring activity will also involve the community and village government.

d. Opportunities for sustainability of activities
o Management and maintenance of results of activities
To regulate and organize the ecosystem so that humans can get the maximum benefit so that the activity is not jammed and the activities continue onwards
o Business Plan
As a process to finalize the Vision, Mission and objectives, strategies, policies, procedures, rules, programs and budgets needed to run a business
o Distribution of responsibilities in institutions / groups
In order to be able to find out the duties of each management institution / group so that in carrying out its activities so that it can provide very satisfying results
o The activities that have been carried out are included in the Palahidu Barat village planning document (RPJM Desa Palahidu Barat)
o Increasing collaboration between institutions / groups with the village government so that the activities can be carried out jointly for the welfare of the people of the village of Palahidu Barat

There is no support from the community because they do not understand the objectives of the program.
- Actions proposed to reduce the risks faced in achieving the objectives or during the implementation of activities



Some of the actions proposed to reduce risk are:

1. provide understanding to the public about the purpose and objectives of the activity program through socialization activities and small discussions with the community
2. work with the village government to provide understanding to the community about the objectives of the activity program
