Building Climate Resilient Agriculture through Research and Education
a. The eventual purpose of the shade house is to facilitate the effective and efficient delivery of CFBC’s hydroponics programme, while being used as a center research and programme in the said field. Also, the project will facilitate the development of our human resource capacity, in agriculture, and satisfy some of the requirements of the CARICOM initiative. Further, the project can provider similar services which could mitigate challenges relating to food security and poverty, and sustain the relevance and dynamism of CFBC, its TVET curricula and economic sustainability in SKN.
