Children and youth capacity development and best practices to combat global environmental challenges
The main project goal is to ensure awareness raising and capacity development of children and youth to implement the principles of sustainable development and to demonstrate best practices in the area of climate change and land degradation prevention, waste management and biodiversity protection. Specific project objectives are the following: conduct informational and educational activities among children, youth and local communities on the implementation of sustainable development principles; implement demonstration models to promote best practices in the area of climate change and land degradation prevention, waste management and biodiversity protection; empower to build partnerships and share experiences to ensure sustainable development at the local level. In order to achieve project objectives, the Youth Center for Sustainable Development at Snovydovychi Secondary School is established (Rokytne district, Rivne region).
