Protection and conservation of traditional rice varieties by using improved cutlivation techniques in the maroon community Kajapati
This project aims to protect and conserve the traditional rice varieties in the maroon community Kajapati. This will be achieved by the following activities:

1. Assessment and description of the present traditional rice varieties in the community.
2. Develop a pilot farming plot with the important rice variety using improved techniques.
3. Take countermeasures in product improvement and awareness sessions regarding the traditional rice variety.
4. Provide training in FPIC.
5. Strengthen local organizations.
