Legal Analysis to Assess the Impact of Laws, Policies and Institutional Frameworks on Indigenous Peoples and Community Conserved Territories and Areas (ICCAs)
The overall aim of the assignment is to assess at the national level the impact of laws, policies and institutional frameworks on ICCAs; and come up with appropriate recommendations and strategies for reforms to improve the recognition and support to ICCAs.

Natural Justice (NJ), a not-for-profit organization headquartered in Cape Town with hubs in Nairobi, Cotonou and New York has been engaged by ICCA-GSI as the global technical partner for coordinating and supporting the legal, policy and other forms of support for ICCA recognition under the WP2. NJ will provide guidance, methodology and other technical support for the national legal analysis on ICCAs.
