Environmental Awareness Camps for children 5-15 years
Environmental Awareness Camps for children 5-15 years
This project seeks to address the need for continuous, extended environmental awareness and training activities and programmes for children (boys and girls) 5-15 years old in St. Kitts and Nevis. As the world continue to face serious climate change issues, it is imperative that children can educated at an early age about these issues and the impact they have on our lives now and theirs in the future. Future environmental sustainability hinges on the knowledge, attitudes and practices of our children who must be taught to better manage, protect and preserve our natural resources and our heritage. The outcome may not be executed in a short time frame hence the focus on continuous, extended activities which will contribute to our overall goal of empowering children to adopt responsible and efficient practices particularly relative to climate change.
