Improved cultivation of cassava, processing and marketing of cassava related products in the Tapanahony Region.
Cassava is traditionally cultivated by women and is also traditionally harvested & processed by women. This process is very labor intensive and follows certain planting methods. This project aims to provide training to women in alternative means of cultivating and processing of cassava, that are less labor intensive and will provide greater returns in crop production. A greater return in crop production will also provide a means of income.
