Roots: An Alternative to nature conservation.
Reform of a mnioc processing facility in the community of Paraíso, São Miguel do Gostoso, to enable the best alternative to deforestation for charcoal production in the Caatinga. The manioc produced will be sold in the local market and local hotels. The project will create brochures to publicize the work of the community and enable tourism to supplement household income.
