The main mission of the project is to provide a strategy for the development of environmental bicycle traffic in Zaporizhya. The project activities will protect green and park areas of the city, promote environment-friendly recreation, raise public awareness on green tourism. This is the first step towards sustainable transport in the city. In order to achieve this objective the project is going to develop bicycle routes and popularize ecological traffic; pave bicycle roads, install road sings for bicycle riders and install four bicycle stops. One bicycle platform will occupy about 25 m2 and will be equipped with trash bins.
