Sweet Potato Processing as a viable Livelihood Enterprise for Youth and Gender Development in St. Kitts
Sweet Potato Processing as a viable Livelihood Enterprise for Youth and Gender Development in St. Kitts
The required use of electricity as the source of energy for the production of agro-processed products of sweet potato is unsustainable, contributes to climate change and is expensive. The group wishes to demonstrate that renewable energy can be used in agroprocessing to produce a product that can be competitive in the market given its lower cost of production.
