Popularization of energy saving measures and energy consumption optimization by replacing old bulbs with energy efficient
The main mission of the project is to combat climate change and demonstrate the methods of energy consumption reduction. The project is going to conduct public hearings with representatives of local authorities, CSOs and Natalivka and Oleksiivka villages communities to present the project and identify potential sites where conventional light bulbs will be replaced by energy-efficient lamps; introduce new energy-efficient lighting system of street lighting in Oleksiivka village; replace conventional light bulbs by energy-efficient lamps in the most important public places in Natalivka village; raise public awareness by distributing informational brochures on economic and environmental effects of energy-efficient lamps; conduct statistics research on the effectiveness of the energy-efficient lamps system, namely the determination of energy savings in comparison with the previous volumes of consumption and estimation of the economic effect; conduct a few information dissemination activities involving more than 200 representatives of local community.

Project sustainability
Due to installation of energy-effective lamps the project will significantly help reduce CO2 emissions and will also be a cost-effective feature for local residents. Due to implementation of a wide information campaign and participation in a range of ecological events, the project managed to raise public awareness on climate-related issues which will overall contribute to environmental consciousness of people.
