Production of alternative fuel (wooden pellets) to combat climate change
Production of alternative fuel (wooden pellets) to combat climate change
The project is aimed to raise community awareness on the benefits of alternative fuels and attract investments to build a station for pellets production. Pellets are environmentally and economically beneficial alternative fuel. Introducing the alternative energy practices and improvement of public awareness on this type of alternative fuel will reduce pressure on natural resources as well as contribute to climate change mitigation. These pellets will be produced from waste wood, straw and other agro resources that are poorly involved in the energy sector in Ukraine. Today the decrease of natural resources makes the world and Ukraine use alternative fuels to reduce the emissions in the environment and the burden on the environment in general. A very important advantage of using wood pellets is that they do not pollute the environment. In modern conditions the wood pellets is one of the most environmentally-friendly type of fuel. It will be the first step towards improving energy efficiency in the region, helping develop innovative solutions and new technologies for saving energy and optimizing its use by the local people.
