Enhancing resilience amongst farming communities in Upper Tana against climate change effects through sustainable land managment
KENFAP will partner with several other organizations to pioneer and pilot an accreditation process in which agricultural producers and processors will undergo training on sustainable Land Management practices and use of water efficient technologies in their production and processing.
KENFAP will engage agricultural producers to develop an accreditation system that recognizes sustainable land management practices and use of water efficient technologies in the production and processing. The project will engage farming communities in the area to initiate and adapt agricultural practice changes and innovation to mitigate and cushion from the effects of climate change. This will empower farmers to sustain their livelihoods.
