The goal of the project is to build the capacity of key stakeholder Communities of the Belize Barrier Reef Reserve System - World Heritage Site to Promote Sustainable Marine Tourism on the Placencia Penisula which aims to expand the sustainable livelihood options for the communities near Laughing Bird Caye National Park, part of the Belize Barrier Reef Reserve System World Heritage Site, and Gladden Spit and Silk Caye Marine Reserve.
