Renewable solar energy for water heating
The project is aimed to combat climate change, reduce GHG emissions and demonstrate the use of renewable solar energy technologies for water heating in public buildings of Oleksandrivsk, Lugansk region. The main practical achievement of the project will be an installation of energy-efficient solar collector in kindergarten to reduce GHG emissions. Raising public awareness, capacity building and improving the environmental literacy of Oleksandrivsk community are the important parts of the project. The project is going to involve local community into the project activities by conducting environmental seminars, roundtable discussions, etc. Raising awareness campaign also includes dissemination of brochures and video on use of renewable solar energy technologies.
