Community energy-efficient lightening project
The main mission of the project is to combat climate change and demonstrate the methods of energy consumption optimization and reduction in Lutivka village, Zhytomyr region. The project is going to conduct public hearings with representatives of local authorities, CSOs and Lutivka community to present the project and identify potential sites where conventional light bulbs will be replaced by energy-efficient lamps; introduce new energy-efficient lighting system of street lighting in Lutivka village; replace conventional light bulbs by energy-efficient lamps in the most important public places; raise public awareness by distributing informational brochures on economic and environmental effects of energy-efficient street lighting system; conduct scientific and statistics research on the effectiveness of the system, namely the determination of energy savings in comparison with the previous volumes of consumption and estimation of the economic effect.
