Reforestation of Land at Enyigba / Edda communities in Abakaliki lga, Ebonyi State
The goal of the project is to provide intervention and mitigating action against climate change impact, deforestations, land degradation, and the attendant loss of income, decreased crop yield, scarcity of fuel wood, in addition to other forest resources. On completion, this project would provide more diverse resources available and affordable create wealth and enrich the environment green wise and reduce poverty in the selected communities through the establishment of over 30,000 tree crop seedlings and leguminous cover crops.
The project will involve community seniitization (advocacy, mobilization and training workshop), reforestation of 80 ha of degraded lands, maintenance of the established plats and monitoring and evaluation.
