Sustainable Community Management for Natural Resources in Eara
This project is made to work for a strategy aiming to enhancing the local water, agriculture and energy resources. Giving important attention to water , energy resources and economic development of the village , through good analysis and planning contributing to more effective and economically sound water resource management and improving rural livelihoods and environmental and water security.
It will provide key support to the targeted community and will improve the local natural resources gives more focus to water and energy issues in Eara village , this strategy was developed in participatory way with local community since Eara village is neglected during the previous period from the development projects which tackled the improvement of the local natural resources , the new board of Eara Voluntary Society was undertaken a new strategy to search for development projects based on the real needs of the local community .
This project portrays the need for improving the local natural resources in the village as response to the climatic change alarm which was obviously affecting the area through the changes in the pattern of rainfall, temperature ,period of winter ,heat ,fluctuation of the distribution of the rainfall along the winter season.

The forum will use the revolving fund approach to manage the projects, thereby allowing the activities to continue beyond the funding period of the project.
Policy Influence
This project aims at contributing to the overall maintenance and control of land degradation and helps the local community implement land management procedures and enable them to acquire the knowledge and skills to manage natural resources in a sustainable manner. This in turn will result in improving the living condition of the local community in Jarash. ? Increasing the local community’s awareness on preserving rainwater and using it. Improving and creating new rain water harvesting systems, which will decrease the use of the household water supply ? Improving the living conditions of the local community through supporting small income generating projects through a revolving fund ? Enhancing and upgrading the skills of the society technically, finically and managerial. ? Conserving energy in the area, along with improving the livelihood and living conditions of the local community, by using a revolving fund that is given to help initiate energy conservation practices. ? Promoting renewable energy and decreasing logging in the area, which will help conserve the biodiversity of Jarash
