Project Characteristics and Results
Project sustainability
- We are planning to engage women in the area to make crafts and sell to the cultural village and in return it will sustain them - Youth will be encouraged to have backyard gardens in the cultural village and sell to the community - Traditional group troupe will be engaged to entertain guests/tourists and will be paid in return and that will uplift their livelihood, in that way they can use their dancing skills to make money. - We are planning to equip those who will be hired in the cultural village with courses that will benefit them. - The group is hoping to introduce a lot of ecotourism products slowly when they have funds (introduction of camel riding, donkey riding and to conserve and rehabilitate the natural resources.
