Medicinal and Herbal Plants Conservation Project
The project will educate and train 2 local communities on participatory project management, biodiversity conservation and forest protection. It will also support the 2 communities in initiating two demonstration projects on biodiversity conservation and forest protection. This will involve cultivation of 1000 endangered medicinal plant seedlings in demonstration nurseries which is anchored on community management and ownership and serves as a model for replication by other local communities
The goal is the protection of a natural habitat within each community through community efforts.
