The Denig Waste Management Initiative contributes both toward the national IW and NBSAP initiatives, in that it will help conserve marine animals and ecosystems through the improvement of the quality of coastal environments and coastal waters as a direct result of the effective and sustainable waste management and disposal initiative by the Denig community.
