Sustainable Management of Natural Resources and Agro-biodiversity in Wadi Arjan/ Ajloun
The overall objective of this project is to contribute to the conservation of biodiversity in the valley through developing local eco-tourism, better management of natural resources and raising awareness regarding issue of conservation and sustainable natural resource management, simultaneously improving the living conditions of the area’s local community. The project will specifically focus on developing locally managed eco-tourism in the project area, improve land management to control degradation, thus improving livelihoods of the local farmers, improving efficiency and availability of irrigation water and raise community awareness of the importance of eco-tourism and sustainable environmental practices.
