Part of the activities of the project will be supported through a revolving fund mechanism which guarantees broadening of beneficiary base and sustaining project activities.

The Arjan Project aimed at influencing and contributing to the conservation of biodiversity in the valley through developing local eco-tourism, better management of natural resources and raising awareness regarding issue of conservation and sustainable natural resource management, simultaneously improving the living conditions of the area’s local community. Its main goals are as follows: - Developing locally managed eco-tourism in the project area - Improving land management to control degradation, thus improving livelihoods of the local farmers - Improving efficiency and availability of irrigation water - Raising the community awareness of the importance of eco-tourism and sustainable environmental practices
