Enahncing Water Use Efficiency and Land Management in Anjara
The project aims to contribute to land conservation and the control of land degradation through supporting land management practices on the local community level, and improving livelihood conditions of the community in the project area. The project will support soil conservation measures including contour terraces and the improvement of water use efficiency to improve land productivity and sustainability. It will support income-generation activities using the area’s environmental resources in a sustainable manner, and increase awareness of local community, especially farmers of the importance of proper management of natural resources and the means to achieve conservation in a sustainable manner.
