The project aims to organise a meeting regarding the mechanisms of intervention for grassroots NGOs to tackle climate change issues. The NGOs that are active in the area of climate change are mostly NGOs that are specialised in science and technology or business/industry oriented NGOs, and grassroots organisations are relatively inactive. SGP, together with DKM, will try to change that trend and inform local, rural and grassroots organisations on CC priorities of the GEF Small Grants Programme, coupled with workshops to detail project ideas.
