La vallée de Mbissel est située dans le département de Fatick. Elle est caractérisée par un environnement très dégradé ( salinisation des terres ) et a toujours été le lieu d'activités rizicoles traditionnelles grâce à des ouvrages ( ... )
agricoles. La dégradation de ces ouvrages et la nécessité de lutter contre la pauvreté tout en préservant l'environnement a amené le Comité de Gestion Inter Villageois de Mbissel ( COGIV - regroupant 8 villages ) de soumettre ce projet dont les objectifs sont :
- la restauration et l' aménagement de la vallée de Mbissel
- la lutte contre l’avancée des tannes et la mise en place
